Section 'B' Mares

Judaroo Lady Lyla is one of two progeny we still have out of Punga Ladybird imported from NZ in 1997. She has  decided to make a late run at breeding to our delight and we have two young fillies by Rhoson Gaugin.  The older Judaroo Ladylike was the Supreme Welsh Pony at 2009 Royal Show.

Having spent most of her early life as a saddle pony with great success she unfortunately lost her first foal to Gaugin.  Many frustrating years followed trying to attain a pregnancy and when we finally gave up and she spent a short while as companion to Imperial Hazard, a surprise foal arrived. A delightful colt Judaroo Locomotion arrived. When Ladylike arrived a year later we were very excited to have a beautiful filly 10 years after Gaugin had arrived.

LadyLyla is a full sister to J.Lorenzo (dec)and J. Lovebird II(dec). A family with extremely good movement particularly propelled from behind with fantastic hock usage. They have also been a family with special intelligence and show ring presence.

As she  is now rising 22  foaling time is running out and we will cherish any foals to come, however  we feel very fortunate for  the  two fillies we have. Expecting a foal by Bamborough Othello in December 2011.

Judaroo Lilac-Time is out of Judaroo Lolita by Rhoson Gaugin. She is the only progeny we have had putting Gaugin over an “A” mare.  Lilac has had much show success including Supreme Welsh Pony at the WA Welsh Show. We have been thrilled with her two foals so far, one being by Bellbrae Pageboy, Morwynt Rapture. A nice gelding by Imperial Jackpot, will be auctioned in November. Currently expecting a 2011 foal to Bamborough Othello

Judaroo Ethnie has been very successful in the showring  and has been a Supreme Welsh Exhibit at the WA all Welsh Show. She has had many lovely foals to Gaugin and a lovely filly for the Morefair Stud by Imperial Jackpot. A beautiful colt by Gaugin will be sold in the November auction. Ethnie is the one daughter we have retained by Congarinni  Carillon out of Karanga Ebony Rose who bred us 3 fillies by three different sires and then was sold back to the Karanga Stud. Foal in 2011 by Bamborough Othello.

Judaroo Ebony was the first foal born in Australia by Gaugin  and is a half sister to Judaroo Ethnie. We have shown her with success at Perth Royal and WA All Welsh Show. Currently on lease to the Morefair stud we look forward to her return.  She has bred us two sweet fillies, one by Nattai Berwyn sold at our second auction and we have a rising 3yo filly by Kira Special Affair that we offer for sale.

Judaroo Love Story is a precious last foal from Judaroo Lovebird II(Dec). A full sister to Morwynt Ladybird, Judaroo Lace and Judaroo Lovesong, Shown as a yearling to be a Champion Filly and shown at the 2009 WA All Welsh Show to be Champion Welsh Mare, we look forward to breeding from her. Had hoped to see her enjoy a saddle career first but that opportunity has not arisen. 2011 will foal to Bamborough Othello.
